Luca Boscardin was born in 1983 in northern Italy. He studied architecture and graphic design. The common passion for Dutch Design attracted him and his wife Valentina Raffaelli to move to Amsterdam.

Motivated by an internship at Studio ROOF he decided to design products for kids furthermore. Meanwhile he has made many series of fancy toys which are mainly made from paper. His Design convinces by simple and strong forms as well in order to create maximum space for imagination. A good example is his series of rocking animals „Cavalcade“, made of wood. It is part of the exhibition at VITRA Design Museum. His idols such as Charley Harper and Miroslav Sasek are a big source of inspiration for new designs.
