With the new Spielworxx strategy game, Anton Hallmann had the exciting task of illustrating the game materials with historically evocative scenes and beautifully drawn buildings spanning four different centuries.
In Québec, you take on the role of an influential family determined to leave its mark on the city by helping build Québec. Over four centuries, you construct impressive buildings and landmarks that shape the cityscape. But building alone is not enough: if you want to make history, you must also secure your influence in the city’s major centers of power. Together with your fellow players, you help shape Québec into one of the most historically significant cities in North America.
Québec was originally released in 2011. It was designed by Philippe Beaudoin and Poissant-Marquis.
Shortly after the release, Anton wrote an article about barrier-free design in board games. You can find the article here.
