Armin Schieb
Armin Schieb was born in Bukarest. He graduated from the department of design at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and is based in Hamburg.
He illustrates scientific, technical and fantastic themes. The Science-Fiction film Phase IV inspired him to use the worm’s-eye view for his book about the Red Ant. Armin Schieb generates his computer graphics with rendering technic and creates perfect constructions in 3D. Also 2D elements can be combined with 3D elements for informative illustrations. Thereby he easily describes even complex, scientific contents.
His client list includes companies and publishers such as Bystronic, Federal Agency for Civic Education, German Aerospace Center, Der Zeitverlag, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, GEO, New Scientist, Siemens, Sysmex, Sueddeutsche Zeitung, Stern, Pfizer and University of Muenster.
